@thames_travel ST1 seems to be running the term time schedules this morning, but the timetables are still on school holiday times. Looks like no school terms past July are defined in the timetable info?
Don't know if related, but ST1 has also not been producing any live location data to BODS AVL since mid last week. Starting from today ST2 also seems to not be producing live location data
@thames_travel what's going on with ST1/2 scheduling? Past 2 days have school holiday timetables published on OBC site & BODS but actual buses have been running school day routes instead (confirmed by AVL data). Buses are turning up 10 minutes before timetable says - not ideal...

@ZachWeiner Even in laser science it's very hard to build a detector that can reconstructs electric field profiles (and needs stuff like nonlinear optics which is probably hard to evolve), but if an animal only needed one spatial dimension of vision it could evolve a diffraction grating
@ZachWeiner My instinctive reasoning would be the difference in frequencies between audio and optical (~10 orders of magnitude) means it's relatively easy to make sensory apparatus to detect the full time-profile of sound but doing the same with light would require sampling at PHz frequency
