@jonbrooks I’ve been renting in Jacksonville the last few years since selling in ‘22. Generally speaking, houses in the $700-$1M range around Jax are overpriced by about 10-15%. Able buyers are on the sidelines because sellers are delusional. Better off investing in something else.

@jeff_gluck Be legitimate and let the best team win w/o gimmicks. 36 race “chase”(to account for random incidents), get rid of stage breaks (happy w stage points, but don’t stop the race), and no more overtime/gw checkered (500 miles is 500 miles). Keep it simple.

@cdrsalamander We were told by our 3-star during our pre-deployment pep talk on CVN76 prior to getting underway from Yoko (FDNF/WESTPAC) that our # priority was “no liberty incidents”. He went on for 10 min on this then left. That was it. No liberty incidents. This was 2017.

@RSE_VB When I took over as squadron XO in ‘15, the tradition had somehow gotten lost nobody had ever heard of an admin. Thankfully I had my old admin queen gouge from from my JOPA and DH days. Bringing fun back was the #1 accomplishment during my command tour.

When I worked in the valley in 2018/2019, I found the Indian H1B’s hard working, friendly people. The issue w the H1B program is it’s more about access to cheap labor than finding the top .01%.
