We're offering an exciting opportunity for people with a disability, learning difficulty or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who are not currently in education to gain new skills and work towards becoming a qualified coach ⚽️💙

As part of this Level 2 apprenticeship, participants will receive mentoring support, complete recognised learning and earn while they learn 🙌

Today, Alan Hancock from The Point7 Project delivered a workshop on knife crime awareness and prevention to our team as part of the South Yorkshire Youth Project, which is funded by the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit and the Premier League Foundation ⚽️📚

The session helped upskill our staff with the knowledge and tools to better engage and support young people who may be at risk of involvement in knife crime and serious youth violence 🙌

An incredible story here as Molly from @SWFCCP has this week been awarded the King’s Commendation for Bravery by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.

The award was in recognition of her courageous actions during an armed attack at Birley Academy in Sheffield on 1 May 2024.

On Saturday 9 May, the 2016 Play-Off Squad will return to Hillsborough for a charity match – and they could be playing against you. 💙

That’s right – this is your chance to step onto the Hillsborough pitch and take on the Play-Off Squad. There are only 16 places available, with a minimum donation of £1,000 required to secure your place in the team.

As well as playing in the match, your donation includes two training sessions with Daniel Pudil, a full playing kit, a pre-match meal, and a place at the charity dinner the evening before.

All funds raised will go directly towards supporting Weston Park Cancer Charity and the Community Programme. 🙌
