@Punter2023@RuthFox01 Assuming it's a genuine question:
- There's a difference between the timetable of announcement and the actual procedural components
- This is a bit more complex, since Farage needs to move into a position that disbars him from office, then vacate it.
- Summer / limited PL time
@iamrichygold@luxemiaa It's pretty fucking arrogant to presume you know better about someone you've never met than someone who clearly worked with them for a sustained period of time.
@DavidJones66870@TukiFromKL I'm not interested in an argument, but the Cato paper literally has a section called "Why Illegal Immigrants Were Fiscally Positive" so like... Maybe read the paper?

@johnlbirch@sommervilletv My first reaction - but I think it's a series of shorts / talking points from someone, and the bold bit is actually the header for the next section, which has been cut off in the screenshot.
@TerryBriton@Steven_Swinford Digital information has to actively be maintained, if anything its more sensitive than paper and ink, without proper precautions.
@glenninluton I guarantee you that won't happen.
Even if the policy positions are popular, Corbyn + Sultana won't get the required news coverage to enable it.
@bestcanton7 As someone on the centre left, I would massively prefer Corbyn to Farage. It's not even close.
Why do we try to perpetuate internecine conflict on the left?
@TheRealKatster@Eyeswideopen69@60yearvintage But like, it's not like we have a quota?
It's bad wherever they're from. If you just care about "foreign" ones, whatever that means, then you're putting another factor above the crime, so you don't really care about the crime, and by extension women and girls.
@PNW_working_mom Dog owner, non American. On festival days, hell the nearest weekend, sure, blow shit up. I don't like it but that's fine.
It's when they're going off every night for the week before and after, after 11pm. Then you can get in the bin.
@andycollins6768@PhilipProudfoot Given that over the last 10 years the water companies have paid out >60bn in dividends, there's no reason to believe the tax payer would be.
Incidentally, now the companies are basically going bust, the only option is likely that the UK tax payer will be.
@andycollins6768@PhilipProudfoot Cool. Since privatisation water companies have racked up ยฃ60bn in debt and we now have some of the most polluted water in Europe, with only 16% of freshwater bodies passing EU standards.
Tell me how public companies are inefficient.
@NEW_WORLD198@PotatoMcWhiskey FYI I can't find the original but the claim seems broadly true.
See:
https://t.co/s0NzxtCk10
https://t.co/R4FSaIxGAy
That covers ~1980 -> 2020, haven't found anything newer than that. The difference in health outcomes between Rep and Dem states seems to be increasing
@PotatoMcWhiskey@NEW_WORLD198 If you cite a source, it's probably your job to provide the link, otherwise you might as well have drawn the graph in paint.
@FartInAHat@frogs4girls@Debakelna Presume climate change is true and the sun will consume the earth in >5bn years.
You have $5bn to spend.
Option A - Preserve the planet best optimised for human habitation
Option B - Try to colonise a planet 200,000,000 km away where the surface = instant death.
