Happy St George's Day, England. The annual parade here in Dartford does mark this each year. Our patron saint's day may be honoured in the breach as much as the observance by many people, but here is my own list of ten things that England and the English can take pride in.
“If they really are refugees, why don’t they have to stay in the first safe country they reach?”
