@Protestia It would be more accurate to say that a resolution passed condemning all forms of gambling as sin. And rejected a motion to amend for more precise (better) language. Doing that SB Christians do best and binding the conscience of fellow believers on an issue of nuance.

Second, modern American evangelicalism has a hard time grasping that while abuse and trauma are very real and tangible things, the Gospel’s power to heal is equally real and active for the Holy Spirit filled believer. The labels we wear don’t have to be permanent.

First, we must let the gospel we preach shape our own lives and those around us should be affirming that we are or challenging us when we aren’t.

I mean, I’m not gonna say I don’t understand why @ATT would be throttling my connection to @Dropbox. But I am paying for unlimited data at gig speeds so why is it when I turn on my VPN the files start syncing faster? Dropbox would throttle me at the account level so… 🤷‍♂️

And fyi, EVERY SINGLE crisis pregnancy center I know continues supporting women after their child is born.
