Deeply saddened by the passing of Abe Foxman.
A towering voice against antisemitism, Abe devoted his life to defending the Jewish people and strengthening the bond between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.

On behalf of the State of Israel, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife Golda, family, friends, and all at the Anti-Defamation League.

Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, @gidonsaar, met earlier today in Jerusalem with His Majesty King Buyelekhaya Zwelibanzi Dalindyebo of the AbaThembu Kingdom, who is visiting Israel as part of a delegation hosted by the ministry.

The delegation includes, among others, the Chief Apostle Caesar Nonqunga of the Twelve Apostles Church in Christ (TACC), his two children Princess Ntando and son Prince Sinethemba, several AbaThembu Chiefs, and Royal Family members.

During their visit to Israel, the delegation will meet with survivors of captivity and will also travel to communities near the Gaza border to witness firsthand the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7. The delegation will visit the site of the Nova Festival and Kibbutz Nir Oz.

The Jewish rioters in Judea and Samaria harm the State of Israel, disgrace Judaism, and cause damage to the settlement project.

Replacing my good friend Oded Joseph as he begins his new role as Ambassador in Moscow.

Meeting the Ambassador of Nepal in South Africa to convey the condolences of the Israeli people after the murder of Bipin Joshi, a young Nepali student who came to 🇮🇱 on behalf of @MASHAVisrael and was killed by Hamas in captivity shortly after October 7, 2023.

“Mother, your little child has grown so tall. Yet still I run to your arms when I fall,” wrote Bipin Joshi, the first in his family to seek work outside Nepal, tending orange and lemon groves through a work-study agricultural program.

We mourn the loss of Bipin - a young, brave, and charismatic student who wanted to do good for his family, his community, and his country.

Rest in peace, Bipin.

To all my friends in South Africa who wrote to me with questions regarding Mandla Mandela:

I can assure you that no one was “abducted” by Israel. Mandla Mandela attempted to enter Gaza by sea without permission, in an effort to provoke. He and his fellow passengers are safe and in good health.

In the pictures: the Israeli security services safely and peacefully escorted them to Israel, where deportation procedures will now begin.

On this occasion, I would like to remind everyone that 48 Israelis are still held captive by Hamas in Gaza — with no food, water, daylight, or access to humanitarian assistance.
