6 months ago, @jakequery had a massive heart attack. Dr. @BenjaminMaatman helped save his life.

One of Jake's biggest concerns after? Being able to run his 14th @500Festival Mini-Marathon.

He wasn't gonna let a heart attack stop him. And he roped his doctor into it, too.

Sick heart, procedure done meticulously, gave them the best chance for good outcome.

We are more routinely leaving in 14 fr without peeling away sheath bc of frequent “oozing” issues and placing distal 5fr perfusion cannula with Impella side arm as donor. Always fem angio through side arm before leaving. Trying to dial in removal strategy
