Congratulations to autonomous trucking pioneer Einride on its IPO on the NASDAQ this morning. And also great to see Lorne Abony in the wild!

Kudos to @FedEx on its spinoff of FedEx Freight. $FDXF is now an independent $89 billion public company focused on LTL.
As @XPOLogistics demonstrated when it spun off @GXOLogistics and RXO to create three pure-play companies, the public markets like pure-plays, because (a) management teams are focused on the one thing that matters most; (b) investors can see standalone financials; and (c) Occam's Razor tends to produce better outcomes.
Will FDXF and FedEx both benefit from this move?

Today marks the end of an era! Kevin Knight is retiring from Knight-Swift Transportation.
36 years ago, Kevin and three cousins founded Knight. Since then, they built an $8 billion giant in transportation that is widely considered a leader in truckload, along with LTL, intermodal, and logistics.
In an era when transportation is experiencing record volatility, it's worth watching our industry legends and learning from their long-term successes.

Meet @ShipStation Global, a multi-billion-dollar company resulting from the merger and rebranding of @Auctane and @WWEXGroup. And kudos to Tom Madine, the CEO of the combined business.
The merger combines two things: WWEX Groupโs freight brokerage and Auctaneโs AI-powered shipping software.
This is a bold move! Rooting for their success.

The battlefield for last-mile logistics continues to intensify.
@ultabeauty just announced they are adding more than 1,500 stores to the @UberEats platform. This is significant because it highlights @Uber's plans to expand beyond restaurants for last-mile delivery, including Ulta's fragrance, makeup, skin care, styling tools and hair care products.
Last mile remains exceptionally fragmented. Will Uber, @Lyft, or another strategic company seek to consolidate it?

Meanwhile @Walmart just announced 30-minute-last mile delivery in 33 markets. The battle against @Amazon and others is accelerating!

Will Amazon's supply chain announcement roil ecommerce fulfillment?
I'm hearing two very different things from the markets.
On the one hand, many CEOs of ecommerce fulfillment companies are bullish about 2026, and continuing to grow rapidly and profitably.
On the other hand, many PE firms are spooked by Amazon's announcement. Some are worried that fulfillment companies dependent on $AMZN could be obsolete. And others are worried that even fulfillment companies totally independent of Amazon could still be materially harmed.
Who do you think is right? And if you are an ecommerce fulfillment executive, what are you doing differently to ensure your long-term growth remains strong?
Is US maritime logistics poised for growth?
TMV, @Prologis and the American Bureau of Shipping think so. And they are investing $200M behind this thesis.
Wishing Marina Hadjipateras, Soraya Darabi, William O'Donnell and the team success in strengthening American maritime supply chains and creating value!

In just the last few minutes, much has already been said about the Supreme Court 9-0 ruling against CH Robinson and truck brokers, in the case of Montgomery vs. Caribe Transport II.
There is no doubt that this verdict will create massive disruption in the transportation industry.
Yet amidst major change, we will see enormous opportunity.
Who do you think are the best software providers for providing carrier safety, compliance, and vetting analytics? Options include Fleetworthy, Lytx, Motive, Samsara, SafetyCulture, Highway, Idelic (now Descartes) and many others.
And what do you think would make these solutions better?

๐จ The Supreme Court unanimously ruled that federal law does not shield freight brokers from state negligence lawsuits when they hire unsafe trucking companies.
