🧵I brought my @FujifilmX_US X100VI to our conference T&F championships as a 3rd body. Here’s 4 things I love about shooting sports with a point & shoot:
A moment of transparency.
Today was my last day at Jack Porter Inc. after 3.5 great years. I now find myself officially unemployed, and officially uninsured - both extremely scary.
I am now aggressively seeking my next full time job in graphic design. Friday I make my move to Orlando, FL and I have an immense amount of time on my hands. I am ready to work, I can begin immediately, and I am a driven designer who values intentional, meaningful design.
I am looking to take on as much freelance work as possible to bridge this gap of uncertainty. If you are looking for a designer who values strong, intentional creative, I would love to connect.
If you would not mind taking a second to retweet and share this post, it would mean so much. There have been so many great members of the design community who have been looking out for me, and I am extremely thankful.
This time will pass, and I will look back at it as a growing opportunity. I would genuinely just love a chance.
Thank you!

A little life update:
Super stoked to announce that I’ll be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in June as part of their emerging talent program! 🏴☠️#gobucs
Proverbs 3:5
I know this will be useful for some people in sports, so I figured I’d share. In the newest macOS (Tahoe), if you bulk download photos and search by jersey number, it pulls up every instance of that player/number. Huge time saver.
Excited to launch my first Behance projects and show the work put in towards Nebraska Track and Field during the indoor season!

When teams are succeeding, so should your socials. With Bethel football being ranked in the top 10 the past two few years, I’ve done exactly this. Followers have almost doubled in the past year and we average 1 million impressions a month in season. Keep in mind this is D3.
Meanwhile, our @USC_Baseball creative/comms/social team is absolutely capitalizing on the success of the program.
March 2025 vs. March 2026
Engagements: +144%
Impressions: +129%
Social Value: +108%
No college baseball social media team has improved more year over year, per @Zoomph data.
✌️
As college sports continue to break viewership records, the entertainment ecosystem around them is ballooning, too.
Athletic departments across the country are rapidly growing their creative teams to produce content that attracts top recruits, deep-pocketed donors, and new fans.
**Copy and Paste from the other day…
Creative content should be viewed as COMPLIMENTARY to broadcast footage, not COMPETITIVE.
Growing an audience through social media by building connections and showing the human side of sport increases the likelihood of individuals tuning in to broadcasts/streams AND attending in person.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS posting content doesn't hurt the NCAA in the slightest. In fact, their content only helps and enhances the product because they're in the middle of it.
I understand all of this is about money, but they ain't losing money when a team posts a cinematic recap.
Sad & disappointing to see the number of empty photo boxes on the March Madness baselines - for both MBB & WBB.
Space that could go to more School & Conference Creatives to showcase & further showcase the moment.
Especially from a cinematic video perspective.
The March Madness social policy allows for 1 minute on IG/FB. $5K fee to go up to 5 minutes. Videography is limited to one person. Video cannot be posted in game.
I am begging young creatives in sports to please resist the urge to post a Tipton Edits style commitment graphic of yourself when you decide what school youre going to. Holy cringe that does not make me want to hire you lol
I’m asking sports center and espn for the love of god to look up pronunciation before going live on behalf of all Minnesotans who hate to hear their cities and players names butchered.
