In the continuation of our series of day 2 at the @cloudfest Hackathon 2026 we caught up with @karimmarucchi, @toderash and @bennimack, key figures in the FAIR / @typo3 hackathon project. #cfhack #cfhack2026 #cloudfest

FAIR for TYPO3 brings @fair_pm to @typo3. It brings together the two ways of installing extensions in #TYPO3, and connects the #WordPress and #TYPO3 communities in an open source project under the @linuxfoundation.

It’s a HUGE win for the open web! #CFhack #Cloudfest

[benni. @bennimack]

@wpackagist @wpengine Hey @outlandish we at @TYPO3 are in the process of bringing our plugin/extension concept closer to the #composer and @packagist standards. I'm currently at the #CFHack26 #CFHack to adopt @fair_pm as well - Happy to exchange ideas. Who'd be the main person to talk to? #OpenSource

[FAIRxTYPO3 @FAIRxTYPO3]

To properly support @typo3 packages, FAIR Explorer needed an update. The PR for that has just been merged!

Had a blast with @jdevalk at the first #CFHack pub quiz in #Rust. Our team „FAIRly TYPical“ won the first prize. Even though we got Madonna’s age wrong.

[benni. @bennimack]

Kickoff at @rulantica #Cfhack26 with 100+ fellow hackers. Missing @sulu again - hey organizers. Bring them in next year. 🫰

[benni. @bennimack]

What a fun ride with @yullbe_official at #CFHack #cloudfest - thanks @CaroleOlinger for organizing such a special event for our hackathon.

[benni. @bennimack]

@chirimoya @sulu We’re working on that, you’re in for a treat. But first: Lunch and Ice cream at #Cfhack #cloudfest

[benni. @bennimack]

Making progress every day at #CloudFest #Hackathon #CFHack - just uploaded the first draft of a #Drupal module that sends #CMS HealthChecks #DrupalLove

[benni. @bennimack]

@kaystrobach @typo3 @EuropaPark @T3Cmd I won't be at @T3Cmd this year, but hopefully one of the other TYPO3-related attendees will be there and hold a session. We have roughly 10 #TYPO3 specialists here at the #CloudFest #Hackathon #cfhack

[benni. @bennimack]

Finally out in the field again for @TYPO3 - a great start for this years‘ #CloudFest #CFHack25 hackathon at @EuropaPark Resort in Germany - working collaboratively with 120 other people to make Open Source Software better.

[benni. @bennimack]

The legendary Mario Kart Tournament - a highlight and true classic at the #CloudFest #cfhack2025 hackathon. Looks like @ochorocho wanted to code some @TYPO3 or @gitlab features instead.

[benni. @bennimack]

Working across multiple CMSes in our CMS Health Checks. Current status: „thinking“ with @remkusdevries and @_obartsch about how we can get a high adoption rate from day 1 #cfhack2025 #cloudfest

[benni. @bennimack]

Shoutout to @VotrubaT to make a generous donation and sponsorship for my open source work for #TYPO3 on GitHub https://t.co/L1xfRogJKG HUGE KUDOS!

[benni. @bennimack]

@elias_haeussler @typo3 Amazing! Great work. However... I will have a VERY long power-nap first before I hit the release button tomorrow ☺️

[DDEV @randyfay]

Yay, you can now use #DDEV in testing on @gitlab CI! See the announcement on https://t.co/gcSCcs7HGA thanks to @ochorocho.

[benni. @bennimack]

@ProvenPudding @tomasnorre @typo3 Actually, my birthday was 34 years ago... 😉

[benni. @bennimack]

My colleague @ochorocho from @weareb13 just published a great article for @ddev with
#TYPO3 v12 and RabbitMQ https://t.co/vWALcAbOqo

[TYPO3 Project @typo3]

Happiest Birthday @kasperskaarhoj 🧡🎉

Because of you, we‘re here! 🙏🏻
