Promoting Berlin’s fascinating football scene & organising trips for groups of travelling football fanatics keen to experience authentic Berlin football culture
Best way to prepare for England in the final of a majour tournament?
That's right, it's a BAK v Wilmersdorf friendly at Stadion Rehberge at 2.30 pm.

Friday night meant relegation for Berliner AK. @BAKinEnglish told me: "We were 20 tonight, it was not bad". Those lads keep being one of the most refreshing things about Berlin football!
🇩🇪 Wacker 04 Berlin
Despite playing at the highest level of football in Berlin from 1933 and being a founding member of the 2. Bundesliga in 1974, Wacker 04 Berlin failed to win any major honours and lived in mediocrity through much of their existence.
They did however manage to win a few honours:
🥇 Berliner Landespokal - 1950, 1968, 1972
🥈 Regionalliga Berlin - 1972
🥉 Amateur-Oberliga Berlin - 1978

New: Lichtenberg derby.

Some derbies are called eternal. Others seem destined never to take place.
East Berlin's SV Sparta Lichtenberg & SV Lichtenberg 47 finally met again after a history of sparse encounters.

Special mention to SV Traktor Boxhagen from the Freizeitliga who beat FC Amed (Bezirksliga, 8th tier) 1-0, they will be the lowest ranked team in the 2nd round which will take place the weekend of September 9th/10th(I think!).

BERLIN-POKAL ROUND-UP: Holders TuS Makkabi cruised through to the 2nd round thanks to a 5-1 victory at Berliner TSC last night.
The biggest name to fall at the first hurdle was @VSG_Berlin, although a defeat on penalties away at @Lichtenberg47 shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
BFC Preussen (Berlin-Liga, 6th tier) won 20-1 away at SG Blau-Weiss Buch (Kreisliga C, 11th tier), but this wasn’t the biggest victory of the round, that title went to fellow Berlin-Liga team TSV Mariendorf won 20-0 at SV Hürriyet Burgund (Kreisliga A, 9thtier).
It's the 2023/24 #DFB Pokal 1st round this weekend, without doubt one of the highlights of the German football season.
Here are the fixtures...those in bold with kick-off times are all available to stream live via https://t.co/Jbl52mZhGx
🏟💙 Despite the result it was a pleasure to be back at the Olympiastadion!
Nobody can predict how this season will turn out for Hertha, but the one thing that is a certainty is the fantastic atmosphere the fans will produce week in, week out.
@ybur2023 Some good options there!
You can’t go wrong with Lichtenberg v TeBe, BAK v Jena or Tasmania v Makkabi - I’d probably choose one of those as the priority.
Zehlendorf v Sparta could be decent too. If the fixtures are kind, you might be able to do more than one of the games.
4 days until we get our 23/24 season underway.
It's going to be different and more difficult than any we've ever experienced in the 4th tier.
But it could also be the most enjoyable if we stay up.
On that note, feel free to join us on the RE4 to Luckenwalde this Sunday.
With the qualification round to be played next weekend, the draw for the first round proper of the 2023/24 Berlin-Pokal has been made - https://t.co/pMVHxZ6Uk3
