Best thing we have done this year: Name the strategies. Be very clear about why they will support excellent T&L in lesson. Have them as a focus of every CPD throughout the year. These strategies support oracy, collaboration, independent work, active participation, retrieval 1/
@MathsImpact@edonions Another vote for Daily Rigour - I think it is a nice mix of current affairs, literacy and numeracy which works at most ages.
I think it’s better done in pairs / groups to support the less confident students.
Biggest barrier is always tutors’ Maths confidence!
