Jacob Thomas going from a walk on at James Madison to potentially starting for Brian Flores' defense is one of the coolest stories in the NFL

@alec_lewis @AlecLewisShow Vikings have a lot of young, intriguing safety-options going into training camp. Who of that group are you watching most closely and why?

Matt Boldy from Nathan MacKinnon into the empty net. 4-1 #mnwild. The Avs have 45 shots with 3:00 left in the game. You be the judge of who's the better team tonight.

Quinn Hughes on the crap brother Jack takes: "People don’t know shit. There’s a bunch of idiots out there and no one’s rehabbed before. There’s reporters out there saying this and that. They don’t know what it’s like to get surgery for six months, not really feel good for 10 months, and do that back to back. For him to just persevere and keep believing and just keep going no matter what happens, he’s a special guy, special player."

#MNTwins are assigning right-hander Mick Abel to Triple-A St. Paul and catcher Eduardo Tait to High-A Cedar Rapids.

NEW: Nick Saban calls for NIL competitive balance in College Football:

“The people out there need to know this model is unsustainable... One school can’t spend $30M for players while another school is spending $3M.”

Walley chose the #Gophers over offers from Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State in high school and he could've easily transferred to the SEC at any point of his college career.

It has become very rare for a player to stay and develop 4-years at one school. He encapsulates the Fleck-era at Minnesota.

It takes a special kind of something to push a member of the athletic training staff in a win and get in game the week after an athletic trainer saved someone’s life.

@PaulCharchian Final 5 in my guillotine league - Garrett Wilson or Tyler Locket in my Flex…

Wow. This is a very early but solid study that finds experiencing the pandemic may have changed the normal development of children's brains. The struggles that many students are still experiencing need to be seen through this lens. https://t.co/hztn10JbRN via @seattletimes
