@miconm Sounds like a witch hunt to me. Teacher was on the gate- assuming the child traveled to/from school alone as he is year 6 and teacher didn’t have the opportunity to tell the parent at pick up. Parent didn’t contact school immediately. Communication is a 2 way street.

As of this week I have resigned from Ofsted as an inspector. I do think that there is place for external scrutiny of schools, however the political agenda that seems to be driving the inspectorate, coupled with the toxicity of some inspection teams,
