Thousands of Public Service Commission (PSC) interns under the current Cohort 6 have voiced growing concerns as they approach the end of their internship contracts in January 2025 without assurances of permanent placement.

"Hello Cyprian. Please help us bring to attention the issue of Public Service Commission(PSC) Interns. The current Cohort 6 (8,000 interns) we’re on our way out in January 2025 without permanent placement despite many replacements available in different government ministries, departments, parastatals and agencies where we work. Why is the government taking us through internship programs to later dump us? Please help us circulate the open letter below to reach the president. Thank you."

@EACCKenya Graduated 2019 , tried to apply for jobs everywhere and every time I see any vacancy and am qualified. But since most of the jobs requires you to pay first lots of cash, us who don't have anything we are denied the position
