How amazing that the buildings are the easy part. As a structural engineer, I can tell you they are not easy. But it's a testiment to how complex this is.
Here's a great example. Blue Origin is going to repair this structure in place. The structural mechanics of a truss system are beautiful. The absolute minimum amount of material to withstand the forces. The problem is they can be non-redundant. To be able to perform the calculations to ensure the structure can remain functional during the extreme conditions it will face are very complex. Yet, it's not the most difficult problem in this endeavor.

Elon's explanation for taking SpaceX public now. He thought it was long winded, but it gave a good overview of why it's important to get capital now to accomplish the vision of SpaceX, which is to expand the light cone of consciousness into the cosmos. πβ¨
@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt Will this make high-speed internet so cheap and ubiquitous that it fundamentally shifts economics across the entire industry? I think so.
"In order to understand the nature of the universe and all these fundamental questions, we must expand the scope and scale of consciousness."

@JeffBezos@NASA@USSpaceForce Godspeed on the repairs. I'm impressed with the progress and how you're going about the repairs. Repairing this in place is impressive engineering. π₯
