The wait is over. Grey Network Validator Nodes are officially live and available for activation.

The first batch of 200 Validator Nodes is now open at the lowest available rate across the entire validator rollout. Each user can activate a maximum of 10 Nodes. Once the first 200 Nodes are allocated, the next batch will be released at the announced higher rate.

Validator participation rewards are already available from the current stage of the network. When Grey Network goes onchain, Validators will participate directly in network validation and earn a share of transaction fees generated across the Grey Network, adding another reward mechanism tied directly to network activity.

𝟭,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗙𝗧𝘀

In addition to the previously outlined Node benefits, every Validator Node purchased will come with the right to mint one exclusive Epic NFT collectible at no cost. This means 1 Node equals 1 Epic NFT, 3 Nodes equal 3 Epic NFTs, and the maximum 10 Nodes equal 10 Epic NFTs. With only 1,000 Validator Nodes available, a total of 1,000 Epic NFTs will be allocated exclusively to Node holders.

Beyond this allocation, 100 additional Legendary NFTs will be reserved for users who purchase the maximum allocation of 10 Validator Nodes. Every user who reaches the 10 Node limit will receive 1 Legendary NFT, in addition to the 10 Epic NFTs attached to their Nodes.

This brings the total collection to 1,100 NFTs: 1,000 Epic and 100 Legendary. These collectibles will have long term utility within the Grey Network ecosystem, unlocking exclusive features and future benefits for holders. As the ecosystem expands, their utility and significance will grow considerably, with the potential for substantial swap/sell value if holders ever choose to trade them.

The next phase of Grey Network is about to begin.

Grey Network is opening another layer of participation to contributors, communities, professionals and institutions who want to play a more active role in the infrastructure of the Grey Network blockchain. On September 20, 2026, Grey Network will officially begin the rollout of its Validator Nodes. This is an opportunity to move beyond simply mining $GREY and become part of the infrastructure that helps support and validate the network.

A Grey Network Validator Node is a network infrastructure component that enables its holder to contribute computing resources to the blockchain's operations and participate in the network's validator architecture. In simple terms, regular miners participate in the Grey Network ecosystem through mobile engagement, while validators take an additional step by contributing resources that support network operations and the broader blockchain infrastructure.

Validator participation begins from the current stage of the network, allowing approved Validator Node holders to take a deeper role in Grey Network and participate in the dedicated validator reward structure.

This is one of the most important parts. ONLY 1,000 LIGHT VALIDATOR NODES WILL EVER BE RELEASED.

The validator program is therefore designed as a limited infrastructure opportunity. Once the available 1,000 Validator Nodes have been allocated, the initial validator program will be fully subscribed. The 1,000 Validator Nodes will be released across 5 batches, with only 200 slots available in each batch.

The standard value of a Grey Network Validator Node licence is $1,000. However, the initial validator rollout will use batch based pricing, with pricing increasing as each available batch is sold out.

Validator participation comes with a dedicated validator reward structure. Dear Grey Network Community,

We have now reached and crossed the 100,000 user mark set for participation in KYC Phase 1. As previously announced, only the first 100,000 users would be eligible to participate in KYC Phase 1. With this milestone now reached, we have drawn the line for Phase 1 and temporarily closed access to KYC for new users. New users joining the Grey Network community and ecosystem will have to wait for KYC Phase 2.

All users who joined within the first 100,000 and are participating in KYC Phase 1 will be able to complete their KYC before the stated closure date for KYC Phase 1. No Phase 1 user will be left behind.

We have also increased the daily capacity for KYC Step 2, Email & OTP Verification. Previously, only 300 users could complete Step 2 each day. This has now been increased to 600 users per day. This upgrade is aimed at clearing the Step 2 queue faster and moving more Phase 1 users through the KYC process every day.

As explained in our previous KYC announcement, we cannot give every user access to Step 2 at once. The previous approach placed significant pressure on our servers and affected the responsiveness of the app, making our platforms difficult to use. This is why we are gradually scaling the batching system, allowing us to increase KYC completion speed while maintaining a balance between platform reliability and KYC processing speed.

If you have completed Step 1, check your KYC Dashboard for your updated queue position and estimated unlock time. When your slot becomes available, request your OTP, verify your email and proceed with the remaining KYC steps when they become available to you. If you have not completed Step 1 yet, complete it now to secure your place in the Step 2 queue.

We will continue optimizing the KYC process as we move more Phase 1 users through verification while maintaining the reliability of our platforms.

A few days ago, we introduced the Marketplace button inside the Grey Network mining app, giving our community a first look at one of the utilities we are actively building. The Marketplace, also accessible at https://t.co/pctwxKQVct, is part of our broader vision to create practical use cases for $GREY and establish an ecosystem where the coin serves a genuine purpose beyond mining.

The Grey Network Marketplace will allow users to shop for goods from participating merchants, pay with $GREY, and have their purchases delivered to their location. Through our Merchant Program, verified businesses will be able to register their stores and upload products for buyers to discover and purchase.

The Marketplace will initially support regional commerce, connecting buyers with merchants within or close to their region. As the merchant network grows, our goal is to expand beyond regional commerce into a global marketplace where users can purchase goods from merchants around the world and have them delivered to their locations.

At the heart of the Marketplace is $GREY as the means of payment. Goods and services offered through the platform will be purchased using $GREY, giving the coin a direct and practical function within the ecosystem. Merchants joining the Merchant Program will be required to accept $GREY and comply with applicable Marketplace policies covering product standards, merchant conduct, pricing, transactions, fulfilment, delivery and the applicable $GREY valuation.

The USD value of $GREY referenced within the Marketplace represents the estimated value being considered by Grey Network for the coin. While this remains subject to confirmation as development progresses, merchants participating in the Marketplace will be required to recognise and comply with the applicable $GREY value established by Grey Network.

Users will always have the freedom to use their $GREY as they choose, including trading or selling it elsewhere. Our goal is to build an ecosystem where $GREY has practical utility and can be used to access real goods, services and other utilities.
