FIR Against Bengal Minister for his Communal Remarks
Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Tindharey units of Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh reached their respective Police Stations with an FIR against Bengal Minister Shovandeb Chattopadhyay for his remarks against Gorkhas and Adivasis.
The Bengal minister had called the Gorkha and Adivasi communities "influx and outsiders".
Not surprisingly, the police refused to accept the complaint and lodge the FIR.
We will continue to seek legal recourse against the minister.
