@ChrisBeeden @3_14KT My view is that it's worth putting in the effort to add the sessions in the model so everyone's times are right.

A key function of the timetable is for anyone in the school to be able to look at it & (without any prior knowledge) know where each kid/ class are supposed to be.

@elJukes Oo no I've not heard of that, I'll check it out cheers. I'd definitely recommend having a warehouse upstream from power bi-majes everything in bi loads easier

@elJukes But PAs no good for moving data at scale. Not blown away by adf tbh, ditto Azure but haven't used Google equivalents so can't compare. How are your logins managed cos that was a factor for us keeping everything MS

@mm_itsmo Yes this is right, power bi pro license for education users are around £20/year I think. MS pricing complicated tho so best to call them.

I don't like the changes to the expression writer in BI - rare example of things getting worse IMO.

You used to be able to find a formula with any text string - so DV brought up SELECTEDVALUE

Now you need to include the first letter: SDV - once great feature bit less good now
