Big development for the Biafra cause!

Brad Raffensperger, Secretary of State of Georgia, has officially proclaimed Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu an Honorary Citizen of Georgia, even as he remains unjustly detained and sentenced to life in Nigeria for leading the peaceful cry for Biafra justice and self-determination.

Britain, his other citizenship country, has stayed silent and ignored the extraordinary rendition, illegal detention, and persecution because they do not want Biafra freedom to succeed.

But America is sending a clear message. This honorary citizenship from a major US state shows growing American interest in the Biafra-Nigeria dispute. With ongoing discussions in US circles about restructuring or even dividing Nigeria to address longstanding injustices, granting this honor to MNK while he's still in prison is a powerful symbolic step.

Now, as an honorary citizen of Georgia, the United States has even stronger moral standing to demand justice for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and intervene in defense of human rights and self-determination for Biafrans.

WHICH NIGERIA WILL REMAIN UNITED?

Her Excellency with the respect I extend to people’s spouses, I normally do not address or criticize First Ladies in Africa.

However, the pain I feel over the abducted children—girls and boys—who have been taken during the tenure of you and your husband has compelled me to respond.

First Lady, you were quoted by The Punch saying that Nigeria will remain united by all means.
I ask: Under what moral ground? Under which reality? Under whose protection?

Surely, there is no sense of remorse.

First Lady, you know that many children have been abducted under your watch.
You know that over 2,000 Christians have been murdered in their places of worship.

You know that over 4,000 children have been taken by terrorists who have grown within the systems established under Buhari and now under Tinubu.

Yet, you speak of a united Nigeria while your own children enjoy wine and whisky in clubs in Lagos, Abuja, and London—while hundreds of parents mourn their missing daughters and sons.

First Lady, you speak boldly of unity while your husband’s government abducted Nnamdi Kanu.

You served as a senator during the Buhari administration, the same administration that orchestrated Kanu’s abduction from Kenya in the dead of night without Kenya’s knowledge. Have you ever issued a statement acknowledging this?

You sat in a Senate that refuses to obey court orders—locally or internationally.
What moral authority remains for you to lecture the world about a country that abducts and renditions its own citizens?
