A stand out time to be owning gold miners, particularly those that have cash flow acceleration 📈
The Grizzle Capital Discipline Gold Miners Index outperformed $GDX by 354% over the last 17 years, full research note: https://t.co/71kNi1FkTX
Worth reading, shared by @thomasg_grizzle : Teaser……Gold has outperformed Bonds in the last 6 major drawdowns in the stock market. This is really worth considering for $SCHD shareholders as this is another arrow to hold in the quiver to cover the 40% in the traditional 60/40 portfolio.
Introducing the Bid/Ask Asset Allocation: a full alternative to the 60/40, built for a monetary regime the 60/40 doesn't answer for.
Bonds have lost their diversification edge. Gold hasn't.
Here's the framework 👉 https://t.co/PaYpzxDoOz
This is a must read for anyone with a diversified portfolio. Its time to think hard if 40% bonds will achieve the returns and risk mitigation you want it to looking over the next 10+ years.
These guys make a compelling case for why it likely won't.
Listening to this should make everyone want gold at max weight in their portfolios… wild stuff.

LONG GOLD MINERS ⛏️
He ran his own ETF for like 4 years which just grinded down and then lost 10% in a day because he had the genius idea to short a bunch of random CVNA risk reversals before earnings.

The Nasdaq 100 will keep getting more expense over the next year.... a $0.5 trillion ETF stuffed in virtually every portfolio is Disruption at an Unreasonable Price 🤔 $QQQ $SPCX
$SPCX is currently 1% of the $QQQ - tracking the unlock schedule outlined in our note pre-IPO. It will be 2.5% by year end 🧐 ~ the same weight as $META & $WMT (Fwd PE's of 18X & 33X) vs. $SPCX at 102X
Bid/Ask $SPCX IPO report: https://t.co/sISo1bRMdR
$SPCX levered ETFs have seen over $1B in cumulative flows since inception but have lost nearly 60% of that as the price has continued to crater. Conversely, inverse ETFs have only seen $50M in flows but now have $250M in AUM.
Crazy stuff!

Couple of interesting $DRAM charts. Despite being up 100% since inception, AUM & flows are essentially the same. Stated another way, in aggregate the fund has created no shareholder value.
Timing matters!
