This wasn’t a billing error or billing hack: it was an intentional Democrat policy to shield residents from sudden rate shocks. They used your tax dollars in June to cover up the explosion they knew was coming in July. And still, they have the audacity to call this “energy justice.” The relief isn't free. Missing deferred amounts are expected to be spread out over subsequent bills (September–February).

This is the price of rejecting clean, abundant natural gas and carbon-free nuclear energy in favor of unreliable green fantasies that require us to import electricity from states that burn coal and other fossil fuels, including clean, abundant natural gas.

Trenton Democrats sold you on “clean energy” while shutting down our in-state generation and betting everything on solar panels with an 8% reliability rate and offshore wind turbines that kill marine life.

Now we’re all paying the price — literally.

Enough. Restore sanity. Reinvest in NJ nuclear energy and natural gas. Stop letting progressive ideology control your thermostat.
