@libertylawful@ComeHometoRome Read 1127. Celebrated worthily in faith, the sacraments confer the grace that they signify. They are efficacious because in them Christ himself is at work: it is he who baptizes, he who acts in the sacraments in order to communicate the grace that each sacrament signifies.
@Captain__Ex@redeemed_zoomer Why did you explicitly state the Catholic Church though from a poster who isnโt even Catholic? Which churches are of Satan and which is the correct one I assume you attend? How are you sure you got it right?
@Truth_matters20 In the day of readily accessible information, how can you get something so terribly incorrect? You can disagree with the doctrine all youโd like but at least represent what the Catholic Church actually teaches?
@taco_talks@marcado_razon It isnโt in our Protestant bibles. But it was in the Bible for 1500 years once the cannon was closed and finally removed in the 1800s. You have to ask yourself why? You trust the Church got the 66 books we have now correct but not the other 7?
@taco_talks So Christโs church from inception got the gospel wrong and the Holy Spirit let the church stay in error for 1500 years? The first 1500 years of Christians are in damnation?
@MatthewDePra @farmingandJesus It was a sincere question, because one has nothing to do with the other. To say Christโs church was established from inception in error and was allowed to continue in said error for 1500 years until the reformers came along doesnโt add up. I trust when the Holy Spirit was given..
@MatthewDePra @farmingandJesus Not sure how this ties into what the church has taught since the time of the Apostles. Are you a Christian? Why would Buddha be relevant to our conversation?
