A North Carolina mom after her son’s senior parking spot design — a simple American flag with “Luke, Class of 2027” — was denied by Marvin Ridge High School in Union County because the American flag “may offend somebody.”
Let that sink in.
Her son is enlisting in the military to fight for this country. They live in America. They pay taxes in America. And the school says the American flag is too controversial for a senior parking spot.
This isn’t “inclusion.” This is insanity. It’s the kind of self-loathing, anti-American nonsense that makes people want to pull their kids out of public school immediately.
The mom is right to be furious. This should be national news. Parents, school board members, and every elected official in North Carolina need to see this.
