First look at my debut feature film, The Tropic Sun and His Eyes. @Tribeca Special Jury Mention Winner and the first mental health, father-and-son narrative to be shot entirely in Haiti. 🇭🇹
Why is it “sad” to see a child LEARNING?
Some of the comments on our videos say it’s sad that I have to teach these boys certain things.
I don’t understand that.
You weren’t born knowing how to pay bills, fix things, communicate, grocery shop, handle emergencies, or navigate life. Somebody taught you. And I guarantee everything you know didn’t come from your mama and daddy.
That’s the whole point of a village.
These boys have parents who love them and teach them. My own children learn from people besides me too. More good adults pouring into a child is a blessing, not evidence that somebody failed.
Instead of being sad that they didn’t know something, be happy somebody cared enough to teach them.
First clip from ‘IF I GO WILL THEY MISS ME’, starring Danielle Brooks and J. Alphonse Nicholson.
The film follows a young boy reconnecting with his distant father after his recent incarceration, seeing him as a Greek god while mysterious visions follow him through his world.
In theaters on September 18.
One of my boys told me today he wouldn’t know what to say if he had to call 911.
That caught me off guard, but it also reminded me exactly why we do this.
Today we talked about staying calm, explaining what happened, giving your location clearly, and even using mile markers when you’re somewhere unfamiliar.
In an emergency, every second matters.
This wasn’t the full lesson, just part of what we covered today.
I’ve officially announced everywhere but here but YES I have launched my own law firm and have had a great launch month so far!!! More to come ☺️✨✨✨

This is proof nobody with real money is solving real problems.
An 18 year old student in Ireland spent years studying microplastics after an earlier project let her detect them but never remove them.
She developed a plant based biodegradable plastic that releases an enzyme to help destroy other plastic waste in surrounding soil and water:
A guy has run central air in his house for 4 years.
He set the thermostat to 70 in June. Left it there until September. Paid whatever the bill said.
His neighbor, an HVAC technician who's been servicing residential systems for over a decade, glanced at his thermostat during a backyard barbecue and asked one question: "Why is your fan set to On instead of Auto?"
He had no idea there was a difference.
His neighbor told him: "Almost every homeowner I visit is running their AC the exact same wrong way. They think cooling costs are just fixed, you either sweat or you pay. They're not. Most of what's driving your bill up has nothing to do with the outside temperature. It's settings nobody explained to you when the system got installed."
He changed 8 things in 20 minutes.
His electric bill dropped noticeably the very next billing cycle. His house stopped feeling humid even at a higher temperature. And his system stopped short-cycling in a way that was quietly wearing down the compressor.
Here's every setting his neighbor showed him.🧵
Nolan Wells’ story is fading from the timeline. Every like, comment, share, and repost helps keep his name — and the fight for answers — alive.
Please don’t let his story disappear.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Do not underestimate the power of this technology. These will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources. We have all witnessed the progress in each of these domains, and progress is not slowing.
So y’all don’t be seeing the conversations about the power grid going out soon, us running out of clean water, the fruits losing their seeds so we can’t regrow them, the robots advancing fast asf, meat being made in factories and getting shipped from Argentina (beef) with a known chemical on it etc…. Like when are we gone talk about all of that instead of everything that don’t matter?
Black Americans doing a nation wide boycott of Asian-owned businesses in the name of this verdict would be effective. They capitalize off our needs and wants: convenience stores, corner stores, beauty supply, nail salons, etc. They depend on heavily on our dollar. Money speaks.
What give foreigners the right to go to majority black country and set up shop hotels and business and said the native people are not invited. This took place in Jamaica.
