Exclusive: a Hawk T2 getting airborne from RAF Valley, N. Wales. As it rolls down the runway flames appear from the rear of the jet. The Hawk T2 does not have reheat (afterburner). As the jet climbs the flames seem to disappear. The main Hydraulic system is on the rear left side.

It works for me with a realistic range at 70mph of around 270 miles ish.
My commute to work is 39 miles and seldom do I drive more than 120-150 miles in one go.
I’ve never had to charge away from home.

I live on the South Coast over 60 miles away and wasn’t in the warning area nor affected!
