Most pilots are happy to let you look around the cockpit, but here’s my tips:

• Not if we’re running late
• We can only do it on the ground, engines off, usually only at the gate
• Photos are fine, have your camera ready
• Kids or adults – it’s all good!
• Be quick – no more than a few minutes
• You can put your hands on the yoke, but don’t start jerking it around
• Don’t push any buttons w/o asking

Most importantly…

You have to ask! We generally don’t approach random people & invite them (it’s awkward). You can ask a flight attendant or catch us as we get to the gate

Utair 737-800 almost lands on a runway under construction at Grozny Airport in Chechnya.

Footage shows the 737 (RA-73089) of Utair approaching Grozny airport early this morning from Antalya as flight UTA742.

For some reason, the pilots confused the runway and began approaching the closed and under construction runway.

On the second attempt, the crew made a safe landing on the active runway.

No thanks, no more visits, and of late Greece is daily invaded by Afro Asian Illegal boat people.
Time for us to find new fresh Welcoming tourism locations.
