I have written an article for @thetimes in response to the new draft menopause guidelines from NICE. They are a step backwards for women.

CBT may have a place when taking a holistic approach to managing the perimenopause, but it won’t improve every menopause symptom and won’t treat the underlying hormone deficiency.

Women deserve to have a choice and if they want to take HRT they should be allowed to. It is about time women are heard and their symptoms and future health is taken seriously.

@MartinSLewis I volunteer for a blood runners charity and we actively encourage our members to talk about it all the time. We desperately need volunteers and can't get them if you don't talk about it. We also need funds, so seeing people's fundraising pages for us is key.
