Dear Coach Keith Urgo
I have been trying to find the right words to express how much you have meant to our family, especially to Ryan. You were never just a coach to him-you were family.
From the moment @KeithUrgo we sent our 18-year-old son 3,000 miles away to New York to play for you, we knew he was in the best hands. You have been there for him in ways that go far beyond basketball. You lifted him up when he was homesick, encouraged him when he was frustrated, and helped him grow into the college basketball player he is today. You made his dream come true, and for that, we will always be grateful.
Even now, during this incredibly difficult time, you have taken the time to reach out to him and offer your support. That means more to us than words can say. He may look like an adult, but he's still an 18-year-old who feels like he has lost his best friend. Your kindness and guidance have been a beacon of light for him, and you will always be a huge role model and integral part of his life.
Thank you for everything you have done. And thank you to your family for sharing you with us for the past year. We know it is not easy, and we're so grateful for their generosity and understanding.

"I don't think our kids know how to fail today.
They don't know how to struggle.
We, the parents, have bailed them out of everything.
Failure is good sometimes.
Failure brings about an internal drive."
This happened because somehow by the grace of the universe the worst owner in the history of sports was forced to give up this once-proud franchise. Leadership is EVERYTHING.
I am weeping watching @PennStateVBALL legend Katie Schumacher-coach her team to national championship match while in a battle vs breast cancer. What can’t women do? Just incredible inspirational fighter. Sending you SO much love and support lady!

It’s the beginning of a school year, so this blog post is heavy on my heart to write for school leaders.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there and the father figures in lives that make a difference. Appreciate you very much
REMINDER: To everyone who mocked Jamaal Charles for struggling to announce a draft pick, remember he has a learning disability.
Jamaal competed in the Special Olympics as a child and delivered a powerful speech titled “I can fly”

“I want to personally thank Caitlin Clark for lifting up our sport…You are one of the GOATs of our game and we appreciate you.”
“Everybody gets tired and fatigued. So what happens when you get tired and fatigued? Something else has to kick in, and that's your habits and your mentality.”

Jeremy Roach and Duke were available today.
I asked Jeremy how being from the DMV has prepared him for moments like this.
Jeremy played at Paul VI and for Team Takeover.
“DMV has the best basketball in the country.”

“As a coach if all I do is teach you how to play basketball, I’m wasting a lot of time. Our first priority is building great men. Great men, turn into great teammates, great teammates turn into a great team and all the sudden your winning lots of games,” Nate Oats
I want to congratulate my favorite college basketball coach MSU’s Tom Izzo for his 700th win last night as my Spartans beat our rival Michigan Wolverines 81-62! Our friendship goes back 39 years, especially his last 29 as head coach. I have appreciated the fact that he treats me as if I was one of his own players like Mateen Cleaves, Draymond Green, or Jaren Jackson Jr. and I love him for that. He has done so much for college basketball, for the state of Michigan, and for all Spartan fans across world! @MSU_Basketball
After her postgame interview Caitlin Clark went straight to this fan to sign her shirt and take a picture
It turns out she has leukemia, and Clark made sure in advance she would make the time to see her.
A heartwarming find by @ScottDochterman
