Always enjoyed Spending time with Sovia, especially pregame of some huge playoff games. She was incredibly courageous through many health battles. Her unmatched dedication to the Spurs will always be remembered. RIP.
Everyone knew Sovia Lauriano as “the Spurs Lady”.
To the Spurs organization, she was much more; a friend to many on staff, a devoted season-ticket member, a bringer of breakfast tacos, a maker of intricate game night costumes and a familiar face in the community.
Sovie embodied the spirit of a true fan with her big smile and even bigger heart. She brought joy to everyone she met and will be deeply missed by the entire Spurs Family. May she rest in peace.

Marcelino Serna’s DSC upgrade was at the White House a few days ago, but @POTUS didn’t approve it. Will the Hispanic Doughboy from El Paso, perhaps the Lone Star State’s most decorated soldier of the Great War, get his long-denied Medal of Honor? https://t.co/6PBVYDoDV9

WaPost's @DavidHoffman has stepped down from the paper's editorial board warning of appeasing tyranny.
From his resignation:
"For decades, the Washington Post's editorials have been a beacon of light, signaling hope to dissidents, political prisoners and the voiceless. MORE
We recommended Harris for president last week. We had several team meetings, and we went through multiple drafts before publishing. I don't view recs as telling voters how to vote, but rather giving voice to principles and expectations for governance. https://t.co/rNSYt0mbI9
