I would like to thank Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser for her outstanding leadership and the D.C. Council for their support for the new RFK Stadium Redevelopment. Not only am I excited that this will be the new home for the Washington Commanders, but I am even more thrilled about the economic growth and revenue generation this project will create for the DC area. The redevelopment centers on Ward 7, which has historically been underinvested, and the Commanders plan will allow us to prioritize local businesses and bring extraordinary experiences to the great residents in the area. This project will help fund youth athletic programming and workforce training, create thousands of jobs, and much more. I am so grateful to D.C.’s dynamic leader and the person who spearheaded this effort Mayor Muriel Bowser! Because of her effort, the collective dream of Mayor Bowser and Owner Josh Harris will come to fruition and bring the Commanders back to DC!
Wishing the happiest birthday to drum supremo @BillyKilson ! Have a great day Billy and may the next year be your best one yet.
