@Awaken1984@triffic_stuff_ I agree, it could have been handled far better. But the facts are, he couldn't be saved. It's all in the court papers. Even if paramedics were on the scene instantly, they couldn't gain access to the vein to prevent the bleeding.
@Adam81275349@triffic_stuff_ The way he died was awful and I agree, his family will hold this forever. But conflating all those after incidents with left ideology makes no sense to me. Bad people, do bad things.
@MCulshaw84@intjcrn@triffic_stuff_ Yes, they did, due to wounds inflicted by the guy who stabbed him. He couldn't be saved but that doesn't make the police conduct any better.
@intjcrn@triffic_stuff_ The medical examiner concluded that Floyd's heart and lungs stopped functioning while he was being restrained by police, and that the restraint - including the neck compression - was a key factor in his death.
The same thing happened to a member of my family unfortunately.
@PiersGarnham1@IsabelOakeshott He can't win, he'd have to show how he was impacted, that would mean sharing his earnings, he'll pull out during discovery. It's a symbolic case at best.
@NadineDorries I'm surprised you know which party you're part of, such an own goal by Nige allowing you to join reform. The Tories couldn't wait to get rid
@1727Przemek@Clock_Hypocrisy@TRobinsonNewEra The police didn't kill him, the guy who stabbed him did, the one that's doing life.
What the police did was wrong but unfortunately he couldn't be saved due to his injuries.
@JohnHug06906884@KucciB58284@liamtuffs1 They didn't stab him, plus his wounds were fatal. He couldn't be saved. You can read all the details in the court papers. What they did was shocking and awful but they didn't contribute to his death. That was the guy with the knife, who is now serving life.
@liamtuffs1 Talking nonsense again, it was horrific and wrong what the police did. But unfortunately, the injuries were fatal, he couldn't be saved. The police fucked up but are not responsible for his death.
