biotech-curious, trying to learn by asking stupid questions, chem graduate, passed all CFA exams but do not hold the charter, like to waste time, obviously
@GermanBiotech Their money, their choice I d say. 🤷🏻♂️
Confirmation bias is a thing and $ABVX was surely bought by many without much knowledge about biotech. Totally agree on the pseudo science, quite some popular accounts seem rather shaky on the details but compensate that with „conviction“.
@financebully Yeah, just comparing to the data in healthy adults, but I should also probably be more sceptical with management, especially in biotech. 😅
$TRDA results are not what I hoped for. Safety is stellar though, we will have to wait for cohort 2 end of year which has 12mg. You can argue kids were underdosed compared to healthy adults, if it scales linearily might still be a way forward.
Looking forward to $TRDA study result today. I rarely see the stock discussed on BioTwitter. I found it late last year, bought around 10$ and did not sell a share. I think they might have a real shot at differentiation in the DMD space.
@financebully I dont think its 100% comparable. VX670 is in adults, there is reason to believe kids clear the drug faster, gonna be interesting, we will see!
@financebully Agree, I always try to talk myself into averaging up more because like you said, the opposite feels much more tempting to me most of the time. I‘d be a buyer at 5$ as well.

I am not even talking about cardiac tissue or satellite cells, their could be many benefits down the road if their tech delivers on the promise. I think it is a compelling risk-reward story, I am happy with a 3% allocation in my portfolio. Thoughts welcome!
@Bernard22190947 Love it. One of my largest biotech holdings. Still under the radar somehow, really cool how they kind of bootstrap their business. Especially love the aesthetics division, could be huge in a world where their future customers buy 20k Hermes bags.
Curious what the $TERN premium looks like from here. If 701 holds its promise, it’s a monster drug. 6B$ feels far too cheap, even for early stage. Merck has shown they’ll pay top dollar for the right asset—lets see.
I am really warming up to $FULC, also doing some work on $AGIO. Rare hematology is an interesting subsector, trying to learn a bit more about it recently.
