@VinnieTortorich They way we are measuring fatox and VO2max is so bad and inconsistent that these studies dont mean much. We're just measuring substrate availability rather than physiological changes. Anyway, most touting lowcarb just havent done enough volume over time. Difference isnt subtle.
@MarioNawfal Well, in some countries, like Russia, they do sometimes express reductions as x times less, but they wouldn't use percentages like this. Maybe his handlers wrote 'it decreased by 60 times' and his math is bad enough to make it 600%. To be consistent it should be 6000% Yuge!

@MedBonnevie Hm, actually that's a 6000% reduction according to this way of calculating. But accuracy is probably not very highly valued in this context.
@JohnGoldman Yes, all the people touting HIIT over 'low-intensity' work have simply never been fit.
Nothing low-intensity about e.g. Z2 in terms of mechanical and energy needs when you are actually fit, not influencer fit.
@JSlaughterEsq Ragebait of course, but I'll take it. Endurance running is what we are evolved for. It is literally the purpose of our bodies. Lift to your heart's content but if you can't run from dawn till dusk you've got work to do.
@TrentTelenko Unclear to me if they are dropping the entire shell or just the submunition (2 per shell). Would make a lot more sense to just drop submunition if they are easily removable. These submunitions would make awesome drone munitions and could probably be a lot cheaper if not fired.
@JoshuaArieh Most important aspect is ventilation. Low to high convection very different from high to lower active exhaust. Do you want high temp gradient floor to ceiling, very wet or mostly drier bathing,how important is heatup time/electricitycost. If possible, get huge but variable vents
@Alan_Couzens Thank you so much for this answer. Did 6hr/ week at 40, 12hrs now at 55 and am planning to do 15-18 at 75 so looking forward to whipping my own 40yr old ass! Main limiter for me will likely be the fueling/eating needed, already the part I enjoy the least.
@StevenQuartz@feelthebyrn1 Main problem is definitions are boring, aren't they? Thus people argue about superiority of their 'thing' vs others. But it is meaningless as they are different things. I strongly agree with original post but tbf 'general health' can mean any amount of anything...
