@KJF239 @chatbiology We do it the same as Nicky remembers but cover the top of the boiling tube with tin foil. Then puncture a hole in the top to insert the root of a mung bean through. Ensure the root is submerged into the solution below. Might need topping up depending on time scales/temperature

The results are in for the Year 10 Biology Challenge. Over 43,685 students worldwide took part. HGS students achieved 2% Silver, 32% Bronze, 13% highly commended and 25% commended. Well done! @UKBioComps

CRICKET U13s beat Norton Knatchbull by 40 runs. Coombs was retired on 60 on the way to setting a total of 174/5 ⚪️⚫️🔴🏏

It’s all go for our Year 12 Biologists this week! Today we went to FSG and had a great time using the SEM microscope on lend from @ResearchInSch . Thank you so much for accommodating us, such a unique opportunity.
