Atiku Abubakar is promising heaven and earth without cost analysis. When you question his ambiguous promises his supporters will reply with insults and whataboutism.

From 1999-2007 under their watch, NITEL and Nigeria Airways were ran aground. Some of the folks promoting him today had their parent’s pension unpaid for years until ex President Buhari graciously sorted it.

On Friday it was reported that the federal government has paid N18 billion in severance benefits to 2,700 former employees of Nigeria Airways.

Between 1999-2007, the following companies were sold cheaply:

• Ajaokuta Steel Company
• Delta Steel Company
• Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON)
• Nigerian National Shipping Line (NNSL)
• National Fertilizer Company of Nigeria (NAFCON)
