@ChrisVinceMP The public will not forgive Labour full stop. Regardless if you turn inwards, outwards, up or down - itโs over. Time to move along now.
@Keir_Starmer We โmust do thisโ and โmust do thatโ in order to prove that you can deliver the change that you promised people years ago - but you have delivered zero.
This has been a clear and humiliating defeat and it is time to step down and let more qualified people lead the country.
@david_hollas But we are funding renewables with a 20% green โtaxโ on our utility bill which in effect wipes out any benefit gained. ยฃ441 up in smoke ๐คทโโ๏ธ Plus the more renewables we add to the grid, the more unstable the grid gets with the ebbs and flows of wind and sun. We need nuclear.
@MatthewStadlen No. The more solar and wind capacity we put online, the more instability we build into the grid. Electricity needs to be affordable and stable, even on dark windstill winter nights. So micronuclear and UK owned North Sea gas extraction both very much needed.
@EndFuelPoverty@EdConwaySky Wait. What? Green levies cost us 16% of our already exorbitant electric rates. The more wind and solar we put online the more unstable and expensive the grid gets. On windless dark winter days we still have to fire up the gas and coal turbines. Net zero makes zero sense.
@cryptomanran Absolute FUD. If that was the case and total Bitcoin network hash rate would drop off a cliff then the difficulty would decrease accordingly, making it much more attractive to divert the same kWh to Bitcoin. Perhaps you need to spend a bit more time understanding this.
