Value earned by @SaturdayBlock. Circulated through Hanbit. | Inspired by @BitcoinBeach, We are building the first Bitcoin Circular Economy in South Korea.
El Salvadorโs Bitcoin adoption is always at the center of attention, but this session reminded us of the important perspectives we need when receiving and interpreting that information.
Orange-pilling the people around us is already difficult enough. So a country like El Salvador, which is working on a long-term circular economy project at a national level, deserves more support and encouragement. Not rushed judgment.
That is how the spark of hope for Bitcoin adoption can stay alive in other countries as well.๐
Thank you for preparing such a meaningful and deeply resonant side event. @asobitcoin@bitcoinofficesv@Bitcoinbeach

Bitcoin wonโt save us alone. Communities will. And Bitcoin circular economies are the communities weโre building for that future.
Thank you, @BTCPrague for having us once again and for giving us the opportunity to speak about such an important topic.
Congratulations on organizing another incredible event and bringing together so many passionate builders, thinkers, and Bitcoiners from around the world.
We truly appreciate it and hope to be back again next year. ๐งก
The mainstream media constantly claims that Bitcoin has no real-world utility. They want you distracted on ETF charts, shitcoins casinos, and Wall Street marketing hypes. Meanwhile, the real revolution is unfolding in the trenches of the Global South.
Unbanked villages are exiting the IMF, building parallel fiat-free economies, and using sats to buy clean drinking water to stay alive.
Today's special episode brings you the raw truth directly from the front lines of global hyperbitcoinization. We sat down with the builders behind three rogue circular economies: Aaronman (@plebstogether), Valentin Popescu (@MotivPeru), and Pedro Vital (@btcdominicana); to expose the unconvenient reality that corporate tech elites are willfully missing or hiding on purpose.
These conversations are pure signals! Links below ๐

The country session was one of the most meaningful parts of BSA.
We heard different stories from Bitcoiners across Asia, each shaped by their own local reality, culture, challenges, and pace.
Same Bitcoin, different contexts.
That made the conversations even more valuable.
BSA was created to bring these voices together, and this session reminded us why that matters.
There is still so much we can learn from one another across Asia๐

Since yesterday was a public holiday in Austria, I missed the chance to visit @bitcoin_wien , which I was really looking forward to๐ฅน
I also tried to visit one more Bitcoin accepting shop. It seemed to be a verified place on @btcmap , but unfortunately it was closed for the holiday, so I couldnโt even try paying with Bitcoin there๐ญ
It was a day that made me think more deeply about what kind of effort is needed for Bitcoin communities and Bitcoin accepting stores to become more active in real life๐ค
Sometimes the staff are there but refuse the payment itself.
Sometimes they just donโt know how to process it.
Sometimes thereโs no sticker at all, and even if that part isnโt the most important thing, the place either doesnโt really operate Bitcoin payments anymore or simply refuses them.
In El Salvador, especially in active circular economy areas like @Bitcoinbeach and @BitcoinBerlinSV , you can walk into almost any small shop and casually ask to pay with Bitcoin, and more often than not, theyโll actually accept it.
I miss that atmosphere.
I want to feel that again.
Still Iโm really looking forward to meeting @_einundzwanzig_ next Monday, having deeper conversations, and learning from their experience.
So far, only McDonaldโs in Lugano was the only successful Bitcoin payment, using Corn Wallet by @Team_Corn ๐
Sadly, the restaurant in Vienna (@DasDelicious) and the sausage kiosk in Salzburg (zumgoldenenteller) both didnโt work out ๐ข
Weโre walking around using @btcmap as our guide.
Where should we try next? ๐ค
For BSA, we prepared small goods to make the gathering more memorable.
Stickers, postcards, pens, and BSA T-shirts by @SaturdayBlock were created as small reminders of the day.
A special thank you to @bitshala for bringing thoughtful gifts for the participants as well.
It added another warm layer to the first Bitcoin Squad Asia gathering, and we truly appreciated it.

BSA came together in just about two months๐ฅ
It was intense, sometimes messy, and not perfect. But it was real.
One of the most meaningful parts was finally meeting Bitcoin builders across Asia who rarely had the chance to connect with one another in person.
Seeing those conversations happen, and feeling the energy and synergy between builders, made us proud of what BSA could become.
This was only the first step.
Next time, we hope to meet even more Bitcoin builders from across Asia.
Thank you to everyone who made the first Bitcoin Squad Asia happenโค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Also, a very special thank you to @mike_tempohouse for helping arrange the space and dinner for everyone.
Thanks to his support, the first BSA was able to take place comfortably and smoothly at @BitcoinHubTW ๐น๐ผ
Weโre cheering for Taiwan Bitcoin Hub and everything they continue to build๐ฅณ

The first Asia-wide Bitcoin-only gathering happened.

Huge thanks to @BitcoinHubTW for co-hosting and everyone who flew in, spoke up, and stayed late.
This is just the beginning.
See you at BSA 2027๐๐ฅ
