Last week’s @Posttrade360com Nordic event in Stockholm brought together industry leaders and experts to discuss the future of post-trade.
The event agenda was very well curated, and it was great to see that many high-level industry leaders were open to share their insights and I truly enjoyed meeting many like minded people.

Here are some of my key takeaways:
🔑 1. #DLT Adoption Accelerating in Regulated Markets: As highlighted in several sessions, issuance on DLT platforms is rapidly gaining traction. This is driven by the need for increased transparency, efficiency, and security in transactions. Financial institutions are exploring DLT to improve cross-border settlements, reduce counterparty risk, and streamline processes across fragmented markets.

🛡️ 2. Regulatory Considerations: Regulatory frameworks continue to evolve, shaping how DLT can be leveraged in #posttrade. The event emphasized the importance of regulatory clarity to facilitate widespread DLT adoption. This aligns with ESMA’s ongoing efforts to streamline post-trade processes and ensure that DLT-based platforms meet stringent compliance standards.

📊 Data Privacy and Security: The conference highlighted that #dataprivacy remains a significant concern, especially with decentralized technologies.
