It was written by 40 different authors, over a span of 1,500 years. It was written on 3 different continents, and in 3 different languages.

Are we to believe that these men were time travelers and were somehow communicating with each other to “keep up the lie”?

If one author had written The Holy Bible, it would be a feat of epic proportions. The author would be known as the greatest composer in history.

This is 40 different men. Spread across a millennia and a half. They did not have the means or ability to “conspire” to concoct a lie.

How many coincidences before mathematically impossible?

If it is all a myth, then why bother with the cross references? Surely you wouldn’t want those because they prove the improbability of the Bible being written by anything other than divine inspiration.

The Holy Bible was indeed inspired by one author.

ZULU KING MPANDE'S PLEDGE TO THE BOERS

On 14 February 1840, the Boers raised the national flag of the Republic of Natalia in the presence of King Mpande and his headmen.

Mpande acknowledged the borders of the Boer Republic of Natalia, from the Tugela River to the Umzimvubu River, as agreed upon between Piet Retief and Dingane and he accepted the vassal status of the area north of the Tugela River to the Black Mfolosi River.

Andries Pretorius issued a proclamation outlining the borders of the vassal territory of Natalia.

According to this proclamation, the borders were: “All the land from the Tugela River to the Black Mfolozi River; that our boundary henceforth running from the sea along the Black Mfolozi River, where it passes through the Double Mountains, near its origin and then along the Rand Mountains, in a similar direction as the Drakensberg, including St. Lucia Bay, along with all coastal areas and harbours, already discovered or yet to be discovered, between the Umzimvubu River and the mouth of the Black Mfolozi River”.

In acceptance of the terms of friendship and defence between himself and the Boers, Mpande said: “If one would do anything to your disfavour, you can only let me know and be assured that I will hurry to your assistance with my whole army and I will sacrifice my last man for you”.

On the banks of the Klip River, the Boers received about 36,000 head of cattle as compensation for the losses they suffered at the hands of Dingane.

When the commando arrived back in Pietermaritzburg, 14,000 cattle were given to the Boers of the highveld, west of the Drakensberg and the remaining cattle were distributed among the Boers in Natalia.

This, the third Boer commando against Dingane, was now called the Cattle Commando.
