@TriThaiGlobal @Ajarncom Wow, an absolutely eye watering amount. Quite simply he lives life by the day now and he's really happy there. It's not been completely plain sailing, but none of the issues have been location based. Sceptical family members are now completely on board with him being out here.

@ChristophKevill @Ajarncom Yes, they have carers and nurses. They call it 'independent living with care'. He has a nurse that looks after him but it's hands off unless needed. You can also pay for 1-1 carers.

@TriThaiGlobal @Ajarncom A friend, whose mum has Alzheimer's advised me to do it while he's still able, so that's exactly what we did. Was great advice because he had a trip back home last April and it completely unsettled him. We've decided that'll be his last trip home.

@Thunder261 I have True and I've been experiencing the same issues over the past week. Supposed to have up to 1gb download. It was 100mb when I checked. Called them, they 'reconfigured' something and it improved to 800mb download but the issues still persist.

@Ajarncom I watched a documentary once and they were in Isaan. There was a mix of the wooden houses with a few 70's footballer houses as you described them. It was explained that it was the proceeds of a family member working in Pattaya.

@Ajarncom It's a tough one. For me, with my dad being diagnosed with Alzheimer's and my mum passed away, I've moved my dad to a care resort in Chiang Mai. Twice the quality of a UK care home at a quarter of the price.

@PDouble0k It was 21 degrees with a 3mm wetsuit in Bali. Did a 30 minute dive because we were all shivering too much! 🥶
