“Faith Alone” is a man made Doctrine, Scripture NEVER teaches this…
Without the grace of God, there is no Faith, they cannot be separated.
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Rom. 3:24)
Faith alone, without Grace, is dead.
@deadtosin610 Absolutely there’s human responsibility, God holds His children accountable to Him in this life (Hebrews 12) and hold the devil’s children accountable at the judgment. (Matthew 13:36-40)
God is absolutely sovereign over everything, good & evil.
@MrTimothyRenfro@GatorRob777 The analogy certainly does effect their roles in history…
Why would you believe that this wouldn’t continue eternally?
Did God stop hating Esau, when Esau died ?
@PeripateticG5@JohnJoeMerwin Faith comes to the children of God, at the same moment of being Born Again…
This process is from God Himself.
Sadly, you believe you have the ability to stay the hand of God…
So how then can you say “I can see & I can hear” 👌🏻
John 9:41
✌🏼
@PeripateticG5@JohnJoeMerwin They refuse why ?
Jesus tells us why in the next chapter, only those “taught of God” can come to Him (John 6:44-45)
Then says it again later in the chapter, with greater plainness of speech.
John 6:65 “no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”
@UpTambourine They’re seeking “self” and the fulfillment that they believe would come by becoming a big influencer.
It is a miserable way of life.
Self (the flesh) can’t be satisfied, it must be crucified.
@realJennaEllis “I’ve read the Bible, cover to cover”
Then you have very low reading comprehension skills.
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, 👉🏼that no man can come unto me, EXCEPT it were given unto him of my Father.👈🏼
Not a Calvinist quote….
Jesus says this twice in this chapter 🤦🏻♂️
@PersonhoodDad@daveyman3@CherylSchatz@DineshDSouza Delusional response
Now, it’s you attacking the person, and not their position. (Sounds familiar)
The subject of the passage is the “creature” (Eve)
Influence/cause & effect
Eve was lied to (cause)… Eve disobeyed, the (effect) of lust.
Use a dictionary before you speak.
@PersonhoodDad@daveyman3@CherylSchatz@DineshDSouza Are you suggesting that the lie of satan didn’t influence her into choosing disobedience?
I gave you the very text of scripture, “not willingly”
You’re placing Gods word into question, just like Eve did.
@PersonhoodDad@daveyman3@CherylSchatz@DineshDSouza The “mess” is being created by him… he needs correction.
Eve didn’t make a “free will” choice, she was deceived, by satan.
By definition that’s coercion.
Speaking of the event in the garden…
