@HannahDCox Her complaint is that work conditions were terrible, she was underpaid, made to do things not in her remit, basic cost obligations weren't met, and it affected her health. All of you saying she's in the wrong are so gross.
@PatrickGratton@RockyLotito This is what everybody misses: she didn't claim she should be paid more now that the movie is a hit. That's not in her post! She claims she was mistreated and underpaid, that the production cut corners and was poorly run, and that it was awful for her.
@PatrickGratton Luke is someone who constantly has the wrong opinion about the entertainment industry, while kissing producer ass. The irony is he is exactly what he claims her to be: someone who tweets under his own name and makes himself seem deeply unpleasant. I wouldn't wanna hire him.
@Duhlorean98 Everyone I hate on twitter shares this opinion. Fucking Joe Russo. He cannot tweet without it being repulsive. These people are industry bottom feeders who think "shut up and take it" is good career advice, which is true if you want to work with guys like Joe, and I sure don't.
@NinaSerafina The craziest part is that, while the success of the movie obviously plays into it, what she wrote actually doesn't say she feels she could get more money after the fact. She says she was underpaid, overworked and was harmed by the experience.
@FanOfObjTruth@NotMikeHarlow Where does she say she should be paid more now that the film is a success? She's saying she was paid insufficiently at the outset relative to the work she was ultimately assigned and that the conditions were harmful to her. Read the post.
@slaterson101@NotMikeHarlow Maybe you know something I don't, but I know plenty of execs. One used to smoke weed a fair amount until she had a kid. Another is a problem drinker. Most of these people are suburban parents.
@slaterson101@NotMikeHarlow Producer fees, star packages, internal studio services, VFX/post relationships, agency packaging, tax-credit structuring all create ways for budget to become revenue for insiders. Shooting outside LA supports that model. More money for the people routing the spend. π€·ββοΈ
@MarkRPellegrino Most of the developed world has socialised healthcare, as they should.
True, we could have it in the States and Musk could remain a billionaire, but it's part of the same cultural sickness.
