Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on the state of Xbox:
"We've invested a lot for the last 25 years. We have to turn this into a sustainable business. The challenge we have is, we've not been monetizing that entertainment. In fact, we've been subsidizing that entertainment."
The first shipments of the #SteamFrame have arrived in the US, which could mean an announcement for the VR headset is on the horizon:

1. Announcement for Hardware reservations and prices expected between Jun 22 - Jun 30
2. Reviewers are actively receiving Steam Machine and Steam Frame units (see enclosed photos)
3. Steam Machine comes with a Steam Controller, 2 mounting brackets and a Steam Machine in a box.
4. There are separate boxes for faceplates (unsure if shipping by default)
5. Creators embargo seems to be due to lift on Hardware reviews after Jun 23
6. Unclear whether Steam Machine and Frame are launching simultaneously, likely
New reports suggest Valve’s next VR headset, known as Steam Frame, could be nearing launch.
XR analyst Brad Lynch says Valve’s U.S. warehouses recently started receiving shipments listed as “Virtual Reality Devices.” Since Valve has no other known VR hardware in development, he believes these shipments are for Steam Frame.
Lynch noted that similar shipment activity preceded the Steam Controller announcement
Valve has confirmed that Steam Frame and Steam Machine are planned for release this summer and has expanded the Steam Verified program to support the new devices.
The first Steam Frame shipments are arriving in Valve’s USA warehouses!
Steam Controller had this happen April 4, and was announced April 27. We could get an announcement for Steam Frame (and maybe Steam Machine) by the end of June!
Steam’s June 10th beta update is small, but if you use Remote Play, Linux, or Steam’s overlay. Possibly another indicator or a Steam Machine/Frame release sometime soon.
• Steam Client Beta updated on June 10 at 21:14 EST
• Linux PipeWire session logic was improved
• If Steam has persistent capture permissions, PipeWire should only stay active while streaming or recording
• Remote Play added a 100 Mbit/s bandwidth option
• Unlimited bandwidth can now adapt up to 250 Mbit/s when connecting to the latest Steam beta
• In-game overlay fix for a beta regression that caused a small number of games to crash on startup
• This is not a flashy update, but it is a useful one for Steam Deck/Linux users and Remote Play users
Better PipeWire behavior on Linux means Steam should stop holding capture sessions open when it does not need to, the Remote Play bandwidth bump is wonderful if you stream locally and want better quality.
XBOX CEO Asha Sharma says they currently cannot manufacture enough Xbox Series consoles to meet demand
"We are currently unable to make as many consoles as players want to buy, and we need a new business model and partnerships for hardware as we remain committed to Helix."
@adiix_official@gerardsans So instead of just doing what is supposedly working so well you instead run on social media and spend countless hours advertising your junk explaining/selling your snake oil bs? It doesn’t compute scammer.
Microsoft is working on some big Xbox hardware changes, and exploring "radically different" console business models. I break down Xbox exec's recent comments about "flexible" next-gen Xbox hardware, summer Game Pass changes, and more 👇 https://t.co/WnOnAs6l9f
