Good coagulation capacity mainly due to the slowness of the procedure. It completely lachlks the ability to facilitate the detachment of the cleavage plane which must be preceded by mechanical detachment before lasing tissues.
Enucleation is more difficult than with holmium.

I tested the thulium fiber laser for BPH. Despite the high frequency, the features of the thulium on the prostate tissue always remain the same.

In recent days we have operated the first Patients with this new technique at the Prato hospital: REZUM.
The screened cases were discharged the day after the procedure.
I am satisfied for now even if the definitive clinical results will be seen in about a month.
