Colin Farrell says no acting paycheck can make his oldest son speak
"I’m so aware of the amount of privilege that I’ve experienced in my life, and what rare air I fly in regards to what I do for a living, how I’ve been able to provide, all that stuff"
"I’m really aware, but at the end of the f*cking day, there’s nothing I can do in acting, there’s no check I can get that can make James talk or have language, my oldest boy"
"We’re all, regardless of the facade, regardless of how the life seems to be, just every T is crossed and every I is dotted ever so perfectly, it’s a mess"
Jessie Buckley: "Oh, it’s chaos"
Colin: "It’s a mess. To be in the mess and not have the answer. Lean into the mystery, and know that feeling is only destructive when it is attempted to be oppressed or ignored. That’s the only time feeling is really destructive"
Hyperliquid's OI is now 20% of Binance's.
To put that into perspective, Lighter's OI is less than 10% of Hyperliquid's.
Hyperliquid is closer to Binance than Lighter is to Hyperliquid.

I find it hard to understand why some people are interpreting Micron’s latest LTA signing as the end of the memory price upcycle.
Signing an LTA ultimately means that the amount of supply in the market that has not yet been locked up is shrinking. In other words, the later a customer signs an LTA, the greater the pressure they face to secure stable supply, and the stronger their FOMO becomes.
Over time, the fear of failing to secure enough memory will only intensify. That creates an environment where memory makers can secure LTAs on increasingly favorable terms.
I do not think this LTA marks the end of price increases. If anything, I think it is closer to the beginning.
Crypto is paying a high price for years of altcoin scams and grifts. It can feel like a toxic industry where very little value is created.
It's easy to feel disillusioned and wish you were focusing on AI-related trading, businesses, or working at a startup in that sector. Many companies and investment firms have already begun the rotation out of Crypto. Don't let your apathy make you unproductive; it's your personal responsibility to continue learning about the world. If you feel the call of the wild, then go.
For the ones brave enough to stick around, not only will the risk-reward be as asymmetric as it's been in recent history, the concentration of upside in a handful of assets will make it EASIER to generate massive returns. There is less capital looking at Crypto exposure than ever before. This all changes with a rapid repricing in Bitcoin this year, which I believe is inevitable.
For a long time in Crypto, nothing felt buyable due to an excess of capital being forced to deploy in a sector with limited opportunity. We're in a new regime now.
We're reaching a similar level of apathy that I felt during 2019 and 2022. I almost quit Crypto to go back to TradFi. It's no surprise those were the years where I generated the bulk of my returns (sans Hyperliquid).
Outside of trading, if you're passionate about the space, companies that are still building during this period will be positioned to take advantage of the inevitable reacceleration of this industry. Working at top-tier companies in the space is more accessible than ever due to a shortage of people entering the field.
Don't undervalue your time.
>> be kyle samani
>> constantly shits on hyperliquid ("low integrity team", "everything wrong with crypto", closed-source, permissioned, "binance 2.0 without marketing", etc.)
>> says drift is the best perp dex in crypto
drift gets hacked for $285m on april fools day 2026 (not a joke)
>> chairman of sol DAT (forward industries, $FWDI) — the "world's largest solana treasury company"
>> forward industries down ~$1B+ on its $SOL (unrealized losses hit ~$670-700M early on; accounting losses of $868M in first 6 months from mark-to-market + impairments)
>> leaves multicoin right before he starts yapping about how hyperliquid is "everything wrong with crypto" (steps back feb 4-5 2026, first big anti-hyperliquid posts days later)
>> still "mega long SOL" while his own treasury company posts $868M losses in 6 months
>> vaults on solana were "awesome product design space" until the one he was shilling got drained

I'm calling it:
Part of Hyperliquid getting a license will also include a narrative about @chameleon_jeff being an American entrepreneur wrongly cast out by prior administrations.
And the license will allow him to return back and allow America to reclaim him as her own.
Star at this point it’s clear Hyperliquid’s success comes at the cost of Binance’s market share. This is why CZ is so scared, a significant amount of Binance’s volume comes from white labeling deals with local exchanges engaged in jurisdictional arbitrage.
Given so much of OKX’s revenues are wallet based at this point it’s only logical any Hyperliquid market share gain hurts Binance.
You know what you need to do. Rip out OKX’s own equity trading perps and replace them with Hyperliquid’s.
Hyperliquid is the last chance we have at materializing the Crypto vision we were promised of open, standardized and liquid financial markets.
Yesterday, I was in London visiting local Liberals. I wish I could say I enjoyed the day, but I didn’t. Not at all.
I’m going to say it bluntly.
The situation in downtown London is a total catastrophe.
I live downtown east in Toronto. My family is in Hamilton. I’ve travelled to a lot of cities in the province.
The plight of Ontarian’s suffering from severe addictions and homelessness has become a huge problem everywhere.
Two years ago, when I last visited London, I thought it was getting rough. Just like so many of our urban centers under the Ford era’s provincial decline.
But downtown London now?
DYSTOPIA.
I feel completely disgusted by what we’ve allowed to happen. It is totally immoral.
It should be treated as a provincial and national emergency.
And by the way, downtown London is otherwise GORGEOUS. Even if half the storefronts are closed.
One of the regional MPPs, @RobFlackEML, is Minister of Housing and Municipal affairs.
How can you let this happen to your city?
How can we turn such a blind eye to the suffering?
How do you tolerate the billions of dollars your government spends on scandalous priorities as this gets ignored?
How can London possibly attract better jobs, people, and employers when its downtown is like this?

It also made me realize that my plans on this file are not enough.
Money for supportive and transitional housing, secure rehab and mental health facilities, ODSP benefits, etc may be sufficient to stop more people from ending up on the street.
But there are an estimated 2,300 people homeless in London. Many need shelter, treatment, medium-to-long term care.
The new HART Hub has 60 beds.
It’s inadequate by an order of magnitude.
I met with a local shelter providing detox and transitional housing services (who is being shut down later this year, no less).
Even when they form people (involuntary entry into hospital/ward to prevent violence or self harm), they are usually out in 24hrs.
It’s not the hospitals fault… they don’t have the space.
There is no space for people who voluntarily want rehab.
Or those who don’t want it voluntarily.
Police move people around blocks. There is nowhere for them to go.
I left feeling sick and daunted. We have failed so many people.
The early Anthropic employee with $100mm of M2M value will look at what to buy after and quickly realize snap bidding QQQ will not diversify them at all, the market is almost entirely comprised of AI related beta.
Bitcoin is the only true diversification.
Buying Bitcoin today is front running the forced diversification of a completely AI saturated equity market.
With not one, not two, but three massive inclusion of 5 Trillion dollars of equity value into the index, diversification requires venturing out on the risk curve.
There are only 4 fighters who "built" the UFC.
Anderson Silva.
GSP.
Jon Jones.
Conor McGregor.
These are 4 main characters.
Everyone else is a sidekick in their story.
