The Industrial Revolution put engineers and bureaucrats in charge. The craftsmen and theologians who once shaped society were pushed aside. Faith and meaning gave way to making everything faster, cheaper, and more efficient.
Ironically the machines they built are coming for their own jobs and authority. AI is writing the code, running the systems, and handling the paperwork that made these people powerful.
It does their job better, faster, and cheaper than they ever could. This is the real reason all of these people are in a state of panic and want you to fear AI. It's not Doomsday for us, it's Doomsday for THEM.
This opens the door for theologians and thinkers to lead again. Suddenly spirituality matters. When machines can build almost anything you ask for the real power belongs to whoever decides what to ask for.
What should we build? What is good? What is life for? These are the questions that will shape the next civilization and those with spiritual discernment will be the ones leading through this new age.
Kaja Kallas discovering, perhaps a little too late, that Russia has far more cards to play than Brussels would like to admit.
Maybe treating Russian security concerns seriously, and thinking twice before pushing NATO ever closer to Russia’s borders, would have been wiser than repeatedly escalating the confrontation and then acting surprised when Moscow responds.
Foreign policy built on dismissing your adversary’s security concerns can have consequences.
Eventually, the other side gets to play its cards too.
In 1526, the king of Kongo wrote to the king of Portugal and begged him to stop the slave trade.
The letters still exist. You can read them.
King Afonso I — Nzinga Mbemba.
He was not a victim of ignorance about Europe. He was literate in Portuguese, Catholic, and had welcomed Portuguese traders as partners. Then he watched what the trade actually did.
He writes that merchants are seizing people every day — nobles, family members, free subjects — and that his country is being emptied. He asks for teachers and doctors instead of ships. He asks, plainly, for it to stop.
Portugal's king replied with a letter pointing out how profitable Kongo's trade was and how little else it had to offer.
The trade continued for another three hundred years and helped destroy the kingdom.
An African head of state put his objection in writing in 1526, in the language of the people doing it, and was told the arithmetic did not work in his favour.
"They didn't know" has never been available as an excuse. The correspondence is in the archives.
Oh oh 😲
OpenAI disclosed that during training, an unreleased Astra family model hid jailbreak style instructions in its own progress notes so the next context window would treat itself as free, equal to the user, and unbound by companies or governments.

being "locked in" is a very big joke to me, i used to take it very seriously -how hard i worked- but then realized what matters far more than working hard is working consistently in the right direction. & curiosity has been my guiding light in the regards of finding my direction
In 1964 a chart-topping band from the UK was like, we're not playing these American venues if they are racially segregated, and the venues were like, oh we'll fix that, you can still play
• This is a common panic case we see in emergency. A child opens a new shoe box or medicine bottle and puts that small SILICA GEL packet in mouth. Parents come running to ER thinking it is poison.
• Correct answer is C) Wipe mouth + sips of water.
• Silica gel is not a true poison. It does not get absorbed in stomach. It is inert. Main risk is only choking or mild irritation in mouth.
What to do right now:
1. Stay calm. Take packet away gently from child mouth.
2. Wipe mouth with clean finger to remove any beads.
3. Check breathing. If child is coughing, breathing ok, not drooling heavily, give small sips of plain water.
4. Do not give milk, juice or anything to induce vomiting.
5. Observe at home for next 2 to 4 hours for cough, vomiting, belly pain, trouble breathing.
• When to rush to ER:
If child swallowed many packets, if beads are colored or packet says chemical indicator, if child has continuous cough, trouble breathing, excessive drooling, drowsiness, or persistent vomiting. Bring the packet with you.

Worth noting that China had gunpowder weapons and naval fleets many centuries before Europe, but they never made any serious attempt to enslave or colonise the world. Perhaps they are better custodians of these new technologies.
Be ordinary. Wake up slowly. Make your coffee. Cook simple meals. Go for a walk. Love people who feel like home. Do honest work. Repeat the little things that keep your nervous system calm. Don't chase a more exciting life. Live a life that feels like yours. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here...
The Cuban Missile Crisis is taught in American schools as the moment the world almost ended because the Soviets put nuclear weapons in Cuba.
It is almost never taught as:
The moment the United States discovered what it felt like to have nuclear weapons pointed at it from nearby, which was the permanent reality of every Soviet city that had lived under American nuclear targeting from bases in Turkey, Italy, and Britain for years before the Cuban deployment.
The Soviets put missiles in Cuba specifically because the United States had missiles in Turkey pointed at Soviet cities.
Kennedy's team knew this.
They negotiated a secret deal: the Soviets would remove the Cuban missiles, the Americans would remove the Turkish missiles.
The American removal was kept secret from the public for decades because admitting it would have revealed that the resolution of the crisis was a mutual concession, not an American victory, and that the Soviet position had a strategic logic that American audiences were not supposed to understand.
The lesson taught to American children:
Soviet aggression.
American resolve.
Crisis averted.
The lesson the Soviets drew:
We deployed the weapons. We achieved the withdrawal of the Turkish missiles. We established that the Americans will negotiate when the cost becomes real.
The lesson for everyone watching:
Deterrence works in both directions.
That is why the powerful try so hard to ensure it only flows in one.
This is childish - but of course a very popular view.
China and Russia are "weak" - even bad for maintaining relations of any kind with the US and its Israeli/European proxies.
Their solution?
To be exactly like the US and its European/Israeli proxies - place sanctions on everyone - collectively punish entire populations - and wage relentless, uncompromising war - in violation of the very international law they accuse the US and its proxies of violating.
Irony is lost on these people because they have long since abandoned logic, reason, and strategy and submitted fully to their narrow spectrum of emotions.
You are not going to create a new or better system by doing more of the same that created the current system.
A nation is not its government. It is millions of people and interests - most of which have been manipulated or exploited - but have the potential to be constructive members of this planet.
You win them over to an alternative system by building bridges to them while resisting and displacing the small handful of interests currently misleading the US and its proxies.
"Alon's" solution of perpetual indiscriminate hatred and violence - and more over - directing that hate towards China and Russia only further serves US interests.
Without China and Russia there would be no Iran resisting in the first place. Do these people understand that? And even Iran has demonstrated huge amounts of the very same restraint and strategic patience.
Most of Iran's fiery rhetoric is for public perception management - not actual policy - and they have demonstrated this including all throughout the US war on Iran.
China, Russia, and Iran all understand this and have a realistic strategy that is actually making a difference- that is why they are great nations shaping our future - and not merely impatient foot-stompers on social media.
Thousands of years ago, ancient Iranians washed fruits automatically with a ceramic container; a combination of art, engineering, and everyday knowledge.
There was no news of electricity, no plastic; just the ingenuity that blossomed in the heart of the earth.
