Recap: First Session of the Bitcoin Sovereignty Program

Yesterday, we had an amazing first session of BITCOIN SOVEREIGNTY extracurricular program!

The session focused on #Bitcoin transactions and partially covered UTXO management. Attendees downloaded @BlksGreenWallet , enabled testnet, and conducted multiple transactions. @D_plus__plus demonstrated how to manually select UTXOs for spending using Blockstream Green and @SparrowWallet .

It was fascinating to explore how transactions can be signed from Sparrow Wallet and broadcasted across different platforms like @mempool . or Bitcoin Core. Students shared their testnet receiving addresses, and D++ sent 1,000,000 sTEST to each participant.

We’re excited for the next session, which will be a continuation of this topic!
