Does anyone else get tied of the main stream news channels always speaking out of both sides of their mouths. It's hard to get just facts that aren't tainted with political views, opinions and gratuitous comments.

Public healthcare for everyone would not lower government expenditures. You're correct minimum wage doesn't effect government spending but I was referring to political promises made by political parties in general and in both of my examples. They all promise us everything but deliver little in the way of anything that benefits us.
